I just got back today from seeing JR at the shop. Like what Billy says, the shop is almost empty. All the fixtures are out and being sold. I just wanted to thank Ace Hobbies for being there for me for the past 7 years. They provided me alot of information about 1/8th scale on-road racing and they were always there when I need them. It's sad to see good supportative hobbyshops such as Ace get out of the industry. But, as J.R. says, life goes on.

Default Credit Card Bill

I just recieved my Chase credit card bill, only to discover that I had been charged twice for one purchase made on January 3rd of this year. It was a sizeable purchase, and this is how I caught it. A smaller sum may have gone unnoticed. I feel confident that a call to Ace, if they are still in the building, or contacting the credit card company will rectify the error.
I suspect that this is a genuine mistake, but would urge everyone to check their statement carefully.

J R is a very honest guy. If you have a problem email him or try and call the shop monday morning. I will be helping him finish up the clean up. Monday is the last day in the shop. Not sure if the phones are still up so email him. Might take a day or two to respond but he will. I have been helping him out for the last month and it has been a mad house with orders.

Thanks Jason,
I'm sure it is a genuine mistake, I have bought quite a bit from Ace and have always been very happy. I will call on Monday, I have already sent an email.
Thank you for your help,

I know how it feels when i shop ends its business, one of our local hobbyshops here in sweden in my town has ended his business and retired
but all the parts and everything was bought by another hobbyshop near me

those "long going" shops are often the best
keep up the good work! :P

Hi Jason,
I tried numerous times to call Ace today. I guess the phones have been disconnected. I have lodged a dispute with my credit card company. I had no choice since my email had not been answered either.
Thank you for your help, I'm quite sure it will get resolved,

Default Ace Hardware

I spoke to JR by phone today, and he is just now catching his breath from all of the commotion in the closing of the shop.
Just be patient,as I am sure that he will honor everyones deals.
JR is a stand-up guy, and he has just be very busy.
