Default Best on-road 12 engine

You are going to get a slew of different answers on this.
From Serio,Novarossi,OS,Pico. It just goes on and on.
I have quite a few differnt engines, but one of my favorite engines is the new Orion CRF Wasp. This thing is just amazing. It is really a matter of preference, and the choices are endless. But pretty much most of the high performance engines will hold their own with each other.

nitromax3.3:

If you are lokking for the best bang for your buck i would suggest the Mega ZX12 Race Version,in my opinion and experience with all the brands out there i think its the best buy for the prices of other engines in the market today and in performance it can outperform the best of the best...

Couple things to think about with a TC3. First is the engine needs to fit the unique exhaust system required on this car. Second this car is not known for it's durability when it come to drive train so I would stay away from modified or big block engines. We have had good luck with RB Concept 430 engine, which is their base engine but the mega would also be a good choice. Only problem with mega is that they have a fantastic deal on their complete package with exhaust system and most dealers only stock that package. The Mega exhaust will not work for your application so you need just the base engine.
Here are the numbers :

RBC 01700-000430
MEG 201001

There are a lot of good engines out there, I doubt you would be displeased with any current engine.

Cool

If you want a good motor I would look at Novarossi line. A friend of mine run a Novarossi 12-3ct motor and it's fast. I seen there is one on E-Bay for a good price and it was new in the box unsealed. You might want to check it out. They had alot of Novarossi on there.

The Novarossi 12 Plus 3 CT is the best engine I have ever owned. It is insanely fast stock. Easy to tune and holds its tune well. Buy one and watch the others at the track look at you funny as you make them look like they are sitting still on the back straight.

Hmm...well I would recommend the OSSpeed TZ or the Nova 12+3 SCT I have owned both these engines and they are easy to tune and are very fast

The two big factors that come in to play are the durability of your drivetrain and the choice of the tuned pipe. With an NTC3 kit, you will have problems getting the best pipes for the 2 engines mentioned above. The OSSpeed TZ works well with the OSSpeed 1040 L52 SC while the Nova 12+3 SCT works well the the Nova 2630 pipe with 6 fins
