Thanks John

Would you consider Brendale to be as high grip as Moorebank though?

Pretty close in grip.. I dont think at Brendale is as high as it used to be compared to a few years ago when i was there for the state and nationals.

The grip at moorebank has been pretty good lately due to the sugar spray they have been using.

Anyone know what size the E clip is that goes on end of lay shaft on the two speed. It's what hold the two gears on.

Ran for the first time this year last night, the grip level was poor so not reading too much into anything compared to what I was doing with my R10 from HotBodies last year. Do have a few questions after reading the interview with Martin Hudy on RedRC last week. With Europe being effected by snow for a large period of the year do they get to run new bits in the lead up to release of new car in a new year? Electric obviously they can run indoors on their track. Just seems to me they design it on CAD, spit it out and then factory drivers give feed back and we see changes for next years car. Look at the low profile shocks... no more for 2014 model even though we are told they where better...

Thanks
Andrew

Bundy Bear the 2013 has been the best nt1 to date it has plenty of grip and steering.
Not sure on the 2014 Martin says it was designed to have more stability and yes they are going back to old shocks for some reason.
Also don't forget X-Ray hudy have the best marketing team

thats just normal. Are you running in a parking lot or a dedicated track. When i ran in a parking lot i noticed this as well. You can try going to 40 rear's and dial in more mechanical grip for the rear. Or you can true the front tires a little smaller than the rears but thats going to change how much tq goes to the front wheels like changing the side gear pulley for the front. But thats just how the cars wear the tires. And sometimes if you have a lot of camber they will wear conical as well in the rear

Ive owned all the nt1's since the first release. they all suffered understeer.
the 2013 has been the best as martin says it was designed for high traction so it naturally has more steering. i do hope they dont redesign the car for low traction it will only suffer understeer again

I'm with you on this one. Just sold my 13 last week and after reading them going back to a larger (maybe old shocks) b/c of low traction and the euro scene, i am a little nervous. I hope they take the new shock design and maybe give it a little more travel. Worst case you get the '14 and a set of '13 shocks with it
