The 2012 chassis is milled out a little different in the back area in the center opening and the 2012 also is milled at the engine, if I remember. But they work no matter what.

Billy is right, the 12 chassis is milled differently around the engine, but both chassis are interchangeable.

Anybody know if there are any big/noticable differences in motor performance when you run a exgaust gas cooler on the pressure hose??
Looking at many pics form the euros and worlds it seems to be 50/50 with people runnung them or not.. I have also seen fuel coolers on the fuel line to the motor, how much difference could it make??

In a short description it just made the tune more consistent threw out the main, actually started running better at the end of the main then the beginning. So it will help to eliminate heat from the exhaust gas that goes into the fuel tank, lowering the temperature of the fuel and increasing run time.

Build Question

Hey guys, for the pro kit page 19 step 3, are the 2x3 silocone o-rings (972030) used? There not in my bag.
thanks.

In the last WC kit and latest Pro kit I built, the kits only come with o-rings for the aluminum one o-ring (high performance) configuration. If you want to build the composite or 2 o-ring alu configuration, you need to buy extra o-rings separately.

IMO, having tried all configurations, the one o-ring works best and lasts much longer than the instructions suggest. The instructions make it sound like the 1 o-ring configuration will not make a 45 min main, but this is not the case. They last months for me.

Are you saying to use the aluminum "spacer" looking things instead of the silicone o-rings? Excuse my ignorance as I'm new to TC's. The manual and supplimental sheets with the kit only refer to silicone rings, unless I missed it.
Thanks for the help.

No, use the composite spacers (one thick plus one thin) and one silicon o-ring. Aluminum refers to the aluminum shock bodies. There should be a supplemental instruction sheet (in addition to the instruction manual) that shows how to build the aluminum shock bodies.

The instructions are also here

Think a few people thought a replacement car might have been on the cards for 2013, but if its not broke why replace it.

Will be interested to see what is included in 2013 kit, I would like to see them make a change to the chassis for engine movement on the bottom.
