I don't know exactly what changed from V1 to V2, but V2 to V3 the pipe side of the top deck got narrower to better match the flex of the topdeck on the servo side.

They also removed some material on top of the steering servo.
I already cut one of my tray's to the 2010 spec, always interesting to test.

Look at the distance from the outer edge to the big holes which the steering servo bracket secures into, and now check your 2008-2009 radioplate.

when using the short wheelbase i notice you lose some caster..so i guess just put all the caster clips to the front and the caster angel should still be in the neutral position

any one have some tech advice on this?

Yes if you shorten the wheelbase you should move the upper arm the amount as the lower arm i.e. if you shorten the wheelbase by 2mm and you normally run 2mm of casterclips behind the upper arm you end up putting all the clips in front of the upperarm

I also cut my upper arms by 2mm's, and place a 2mm shim to allow the upper arms to be moved back as well as the lower arms.

change the caster shims the same amount as you change the wheelbase.
