Yes it it did, so in other words the crank isn't the same as the balanced 2009 motor

I was told the price should be less than the 09 Balanced, but more than the standard XXL3 we have out now, and 400 seems a bit much for a XXL3, my shop was selling them for like 369.99...

Max Power have introduced their 2010 .12 competition engine, the XXL3. The most noticeable difference is the new cooling head, which is much lighter than previous versions thanks to its new design and machined holes in the cooling fins, which helps the handling of the car by lowering the overall centre of gravity. Internally there is a new balanced crankshaft that has improved timing for better torque, while the carburetor is now supplied with aluminium venturis.

Thats the write up from red rc, Max does state that the crank timing has been improved, I'll find out about the differences in the piston, sleeve, and crankcase if there are any.
