When the car is bottoming out, the lowest base of tank will be at risk of damage. Not worth it..... xray tank is quite expensive. I guess you can raise the tank around 2mm higher from the lowest point ( bottom of chassis ). Don't forget to take some inspirational photos for us.

I have another question about the aluminum wheel hexes !

In an earlier post I was told to use the -.75 hexes. Most of the team driver setups show the -.75 hexes.

What is the benefit with using these over the 0 or +.75 hexes besides altering the track width without changing the pillow balls.

Also with standard 0 offset tires and the -.75 hexes, the inner side of the tire rubs on the hub carrier where the upright attaches.

Any setup advice would be helpful.

Thanks

People use 0 or +.75 front wheel hexes because they still use dog bones. Even 0 wheel hex still can make front dog bone to fly out upon side impact ( mine did ). With 0 : Use 3mm thin foam, coin type , or soft silicone O ring, and put it inside front outdrive cup to lessen dog bone lateral movement. With +.75 : no need foam.

+.75 on the rear is suitable for extra wide eg. 202mm track width, or u want to use 32mm width tires ( eg. kawahara 32mm width tires )

But he has a different problem... He says that with -0.75 hubs, tire rubs to upright. I dont have any optional hubs yet but Im planning to have some, so anyone have some knowledge about this?

Default Rear Gear Diff Leak

can someone please give me an idea why...

the rear gear diff leaks oil through one of the screw holes...even when screw is done right up, and flush with the plastic.

should i undo completely and re-fill up to the advised level of instructions??

Definatley fill your diff to where it says in the book, any more and it will probably leak. When you do up the screws on the diff are you tightening them in the "criss cross" pattern that they suggest? If not maybe there is a bit to much pressure on one side causing it to leak out the other. Something to keep in mind anyways
