I have a quick question. Is there a way to stop the fuel from spitting out when refueling? When my car is running and you try to refuel it when it get's 3/4 full it starts spitting fuel out everywhere. I'm using the standard Nimh RX pack.

Just bought a new Spec 2008 NT1. Does the rear tires need to be the 1 degree offset type ?

I put 0 degree offset on and they rub the hub carriers.

Thanks

no your cluch should not touch the shoe and the end play is inportant to big a end play you will destroy your thrust bearing and to small a gap it will cause the clutch too drag when the clutch heats up,try for .01 end play

sorry my engrish not very good
if you have to big an end play you are more likely to kill your thrust bearing
to small an end play your cluch will not engage properly after the clutch bell heats up

try for a 0.1 end gap

no to big a clutch gap you will loose the fly weights..
your gap is set first with the inner bearing taking out
the shims are placed in frount of the thrust bearing.... i use .5 gap
then the end play is set last with the bearing put back in
and the shims placed in frount off the inner bearing on the crank shaft ...
hope this helps

so your not confused again, Grub says

in order.... clutch nut- shims (for endplay) inner bearing- outer bearing-thrust bearing- shims (clutch gap) then retainer.
clutch gap set first with no inner bearing nor shims on the retainer.
push the bell onto the shoe, measure distance to retainer to first pinion = 1.2mm . pull bell to thrust bearing, then measure the same = 0.2 this equals a clutch gap of 1mm (these measurements are a made up figure to help explain)

so 1mm clutch gap you have. now put 0.4mm of shims on the retainer to have a desired 0.6 clutch gap. refit inner bearing, then reassemble the clutch. now keep adding shims inside before the inner bearing to achieve the 0.1mm endplay

hope this helps

Can the fuel tank be too low?
I lowered my fuel tank and the bottom is 1mm sticking out of the bottom chassis.

How much did you lower it?.

But no you don't want it to be sticking out, as is will damage it.
