guys at 301, what tires should i start out with for this track? also, is the 4mm chassis a good application here? i have never been to the track, so is it high bite/high traction? what about the Multi Flex engine mount?

Lipo 2s packs run at 7.4volts. The regular 5 cell packs run at 6.0 volts. Translation, you plug your lipo right into your RX with no voltage drop and you risk frying your servos and RX. So they make voltage regulators(similar to novaks BEC ) to drop the voltage down from 7.4 to 6v, also should include a lipo cut off(dont want to discharge the lipo to much).

The 4mm chassis definitely works better at 301 as it is always high bite and sometimes even super seriously stupid high bite.
For tires, either 40s/42s or 40s/45s (front/rear) work best. I'd recommend 40/42 to start.

I would stick with the wire swaybars, cheaper and don't get smashed when your enduro teammate smashes your car into the wall lol. But overall I like the idea, Springs are huge, Its easy to convert asc or losi oils to cst. But hard to get the right springs.. and Orion 1600 rx pack

Go with NIMH like the marathon 1600 from Orion, LiPo packs are good but the voltage cut off rate is too fast, in other words you won't really be able to read servo's slowing down when the battery is low, it will be more sudden. Don't worry about weight savings cause the car is really light out the box, and run's great. Like other people are saying run the car, learn it, and, if you feel like you want upgrades just worry about adjustability.
