Mr. Hudy's marketing plan to sell more EP & GP on-road cars by signing on some of the best R/C talent is working out quite well. In the hands of these vary capable drivers, the T2 and NT1 are winning races everywhere. But buying an NT1 doesn't guarantee you a spot on the podium. It may make you "X" tenths of a second faster, but it's not like the competition is waiting for you to pass them. Is the NT1 more setup out of the box than the other cars? Perhaps it is. But races are still won based on proper setup for the track, engine/clutch tuning and driving - three things that many people haven't mastered yet. I know I haven't.

You made a good choice Ryan. NT1 is a great car and a proven winner. It's all up to you now.

Default Option engine mount

Has any one use this option and how will this affect the handling. I suspect will make the rear more stiff and more sensitive to roll bar changes.

any nt1 drivers in the northern California area ?

im trying to put together a team to run the speedworld 3 hour enduro. mugen and serpent will have teams in the field .
i believe mike swauger is leading one of the mugen teams

i spoke with ralph burch today and they dont have any northern california drivers and didnt seem very interested in helping to put an xray in the field.

so i am calling any expert xray guys that would like to team up for this event.

the event info can be found in the main forum and will be held sept 23 at speedworld in roseville ca

OK, so my NT1 should arrive soon...and i've already spent a couple of hundred in hop ups

Heres the list:

Rear adjustable anti roll bar
carbon bumper mount
rear cvds (fronts were out of stock on rc-mushy)
light weight gear housings
light weight brake holder
carbon battery tray

does anyone know where I would be able to buy alloy shock body's from? and also front cvd's.

thanks guys

Ryan

Default brake cam post

Has anybody noticed if the brake cam post is rubbing on the brake disc .I was looking over my car and i saw that the brake disc has worn a groove into the cam post.

Sal, just file some material off from the shoulder of the cam (extend the flat), I noticed the same thing when building the kit.

honestly you went a little overboard on the hop ups. the only thing you really needed was front cvd's and aluminium hexes the carbon battery tray is pretty cool though. you really dont need the allow shocks the plastic ones work perfect. especially if you are going to copy any of the team guys setup.

With the Multi-Flex™ 1-Piece Engine Mounting System, the car will have more steering and be easier to drive, when the track has medium-high to high grip. I wouldn't run it on a track with medium or low grip.

It will also un-mask any setup flaws that the extra chassis flex was hiding. So don't be afraid to adjust the setup as you'll find that the extra stiffness will enhance the feel of each setup change.

All of this goes for the 4mm Chassis as well.

Default Option engine mount

How is the improvement. Will it be initial of the turn, mid or exit? I am having a problem as my car is pushing on fast corners, heavier roll bar helped a bit but I still want more on power steering.

I settled the pushing problem with front sway bar removed AND use thicker rear sway bar ( 2.6mm ). I'm still using front gear diff.

OR, you could try normal one way as more "text book" solutions.
