Default P/S hpi pro 21 rsc

hi guys,
today i just finished rebuilding my hpi pro 21 but something come out the piston got caught with the back plate and resulted damaging the piston when i tried to rotate the crank .guys i need to know what is subtitute part for my hpi pro, iknow that engine is made by novarossi,please guys i need your help

My friend told me that HPI .21 is based on Novarossi's R1 engine, which is also discontinued. I doubt HPI will still carry parts for that engine. Good luck.

do you think ican use other brand piston as long it fit? by the way guys, do know novarossi customer service website? i really appreciate if one of you guys helping me out here. thanks
