Jason, your engines cost less because they are off-road engines. on-road engines cost $150.00 to $300.00 more than off-road. For example: aN OS .21 RZ-V01B(P) costs $289.00 and a JP mod .21 cost $522.99. That is a big difference.

Rod B If you are looking for a cherry impact and some engines I have one with 2 RB X15 Richey 9 port Eagle engines, spares, tires, bodies etc and the whole kit and kaboodle for sale. its cherry and fresh to go. If you are just looking for an engine the one Chris F has is also cherry and has very low time if I remember right.

I'm going to run 1/8th and touring this year.

Default 235mm Power

I have a (CRC) STS 7 port turbo, that I got for under $150.00. It seems to have good power, I bought it for a spare and haven't run it much yet. It's another engine to keep in mind.

Dennis that is a really sweet looking paint job, do you pefer the RB motor over the others, Have you been running 235 mm for long? If so did you run last year in Ohio? Saw your 200mm, but not your 235mm on the track. Is the motor one of yours or is stock out of the box.

TURBO 9000, It all depends on which one you are talking about, There are 4 different versions to the sx-15. I know one for a fact is an extremely fast. You would need to loosen the clutch abit otherwise all the bottom end will in fact pull the front wheels off the ground. I know that from experience. The motor I have is still running in the low 190 degrees and that is in race condition. Depending on where I run this year, it will allow me to open the motor up and see what it capable of doing.

Jason not yet, hopefully it will be here to day or monday.

Now the sts .15 for the price seems like a bargain, I plan on getting one. I don't know how long it will last, but I am going to try it out.

Default rod_b;

Yea, Bill has that car hooked up and fast too.

Still seems like a lot more work to be fast and stay fast than another Sedan would.

You going to run with us at Hobby People tomorrow? If not see you at Citrus next weekend.

Mobil thats my new standard paint job on all my new bodies. I found it easy to do and kinda cool looking. And I can do it pretty fast.
I like the RB X15 and the SX 15 they are very similar. The engien in it and the back up are the three port x15 that is reworked to my Eagle 9 port spec.

Pops the car just went through a fresh rebuild. I'm kind of a maintenance freak. Everything worn tired or questionable was tossed. The car has basically all the light weight transmission and mainshaft stuff the new 835 has and some stuff it does not have. I just did it all myself by reworking alot of stuff. look at the two speed gears closely, and you cant see the hollow mainshaft and mid shaft in the picture or the light weight rear axle. It also has the serpent team style clutch rework AFL fuel tank Bla Blah Bla. I'm located in Michigan

Ya the 7-port Evo-4,
are you talking about loosing the screw at the end of the clutch bell? I do that with my Integra sometimes, it shoots right out of the turns. A little too much clutch wear though.

Turbo 9000, that's it. The motor has so much torque if you don't set your clutch up correct the car will be almost un-controllable. Ask Jason100776 about that. Jason is one hell of a driver(finishes in the top 5 in almost all races for the past year(throw out nats.) and he said the motor was to powerful. There is another motor that someone I run with has it costs I think 199-209. One hell of a motor for the price.(cheaper than some .12 on the market nowadays). I can't wait for the weather to break around here to be able to take that beast out and run it. This weekend might be looking promising.
