OS .12 5p issue

Hi Guys,

Not sure if anyone using the same engine as me face this problem, my engine is probably 4 mths old, just few week hav been busy to take it out for a run. However, I brought it out this weekend to run, first start was easy however the subsequent start was harder. Why is this so?

Starter box is fine, glow starter working (tested on a spare plug, glowing red), glow plug was replaced a new 1 as the earlier (from stock) was worn off (dead)

Is there any steps i need to take note prior to cold start for starting an engine i probably didnt start 2 weeks ago? needle setting?

However wif this issue, I would at least start the engine to run at least once a week. Would that do?

Do pour in your few cents of suggestion and guide.

Thanks alot in advance

Are you using after run oil after each race day?

hmm...try to disassemble your engine and see if there is any corrosion or build up of carbon deposits. if so, clean it up. you may also experience this problem if you haven't cleaned the engine after running it and there was fuel left inside it. also, try to make sure all the screws are tight and gaskets are not leaking

Dude, I don't quite understand? I usually need to choke the carb by placing my finger over the exhaust to prime the engine quicker. If you have fuel and a hot plug (one that works) you should start up every time. Don't mess with your adjustments until you get the car warmed up. Unless of course it's an idleing problem. Please explain in more detail if this doesn't help you. :)
