Default BODY HELP! URGENT!

Hi All,
BODY SIZES HELP!

I have not bought a body, nor owned one ever since i got my Kyosho FW-05S 350z body in the box...and from the get go i stuffed the paint job with the rattle can cause i had no experience.

Ok well i am looking into buying some new bodies and their is some really nice ones i can pick up on ebay prepainted but they are 190MM and my car is 200MM they have been prepainted not predrilled yet. My car is the rubber tire version fits 26mm tires on it. Will a 190mm Body fit my 200mm car??

Cheers
CHRIS

It will fit, but the tires will stick out of the body. You should go with the 200mm bodies, if you keep looking you will find them on Ebay also

You should get over your fear of painting and try again!

For me, painting is just as much fun as driving... and I've only painted one body so far.

It is the canvas that you paint your car's life story onto.

enjoy it!

who cares if its crappy?! mine has so many blemishes that I cant even begin to count them.

but I love it!

I say spend a little more on a nice, unpainted body and give it a whirl!

and go with the 200mm. if anything, for clearance.

Practice on the inside of a large coke bottle-cut the top and the bottom off pin it down flat and paint away --cant get any cheeper than that.

we have ran the coke bottles on a off road truck paint it pink and call it a pig.

If you have a local hobby shop they usually have someone that paints bodies.

Dude, painting is easy! Start with a simple paint scheme like running a piece of tape diagnaly down the side. From like the top of the rear corner by the spoler, then towards the front to the bottom of the body right behind the front wheel. After you make that one piece of masking tape even on both sides, tape off the rest of the lower half. Now paint your main color, Make sure your windows are masked! Do a nice brite color like yellow or something, it's easier to see your car that way. Let it dry (15 min.) pull off your tape and do one more color. or remove the tape and tape a different portion that hasn't been painted yet so you sill end up with a three color scheme. If you do the light color first, just be sure to back it with white so the other colors won't blead through. Do like Yellow, orange and Black.

After you do an easy paint scheme, you can try and get more elaberate on your next one, because there is ALWAYS a next one! Good luck!
