Default Hotels available

Hi Guys:

I have interest in attending to this event, but the first thing I found is that all hotels in Florida CIty Area are full. There is no room available (at good price). Is there any other hotels a little farther that can be recomended.

Thanks
Edgar

There are a lot of hotels in the kendall area. For those that do not know the Miami area, kendall is about 20 minutes north from track right off the turnpike. These hotels are nicer also. Good for the family. Try expedia.com

Maybe someone from rc pro can check on hotels. I just did a quick search and nothing available that I saw. I live in the area, so I have never looked into a hotel.

The Homestead Raceway has blocked all the area hotels for their guests during the IRL race. We are also their guests for the event, we'll have hotel info next week

Also next week, jeff said he will post the information for the hotels. The speedway has booked all the hotels for the dates of the race and we are going to be a part of that event.

This was just posted on forgass today. Man I am so glad. This could be really good for the future of rc on road gas (especially in florida)

Thid was posted by David Larry,

Ok Everyone,

I have finally got approval from the County to switch dates. But after
talking to my fellow FORGASS Officers we have decided to let YOU the
racers decide if we should change dates. We were elected by YOU the
racers anyway. I know what its like to be force into something, its
stinks. After all we live in a Demoracy (spelling -5)not a dicatorship
(again spelling -5). So when you register to race on Saturday and
Sunday at the next state race in Fort Myers on January 13th and 14th,
2007. You can let your vote count. Your choice is keep the current
date or switch to March 17th and 18th, 2007. The results will be
announced on Sunday before the first Main is run.
