I got a extra radio plate with less expensive servo's for running in the wet. And when running in the rain i coat the servo's with some sort of liquid rubber that is sold by FG. i put some thick grease under the servo horn and put the receiver in a balloon. And to protect the engine/airfilter i use an ins box. the rest of the car remains the same as when i run on a dry track except i use some good rain tires. I even ran with a one way in the rain because i didn't had a front diff ready.

What if you on Saturday drove 3 hours to get to the track to practise for the race on Sunday and then after spending the night in a hotel, find out the next day that the race is cancelled because of the rain?....

No, we just drive in the rain, only with thunder and lightning the race will be postponed......

And the electronic equipment can handle the rain, servo's are waterproof, but as "ice_nl" mentioned, using the "liquid" rubber from FG and some grease or vaseline on the rotating parts will do the job.... a baloon around the receiver (I also placed mine on top of the radioplate in front of the tank), a specially made INS-box, and a baloon around the engines head to keep it warm will do the job......
What if you live in England?....
It rains for 10 months a year over there ........

I don't like driving in the rain, but with good tyres, you can actually drive quite fast, you will be surprised if you run kissling tyres.... http://www.kiss-tyres.ch/

But if it only rains for 7 days a year, you will never need them....
