ROAR just posted thier meeting notes in November and have the 1/8th Nats in Vegas (as we already knew) and the dates are for Sept 7-9, 2007 (and of coarse it says TENATIVE).

You can also see all the other ROAR National dates by going to the ROAR website (www.roarracing.com) and then looking at the meeting notes from November. Seems they also have alot of topics they covered.

Congrats to LV for the 2007 Nats. A lot of hard work there and that track looks super.

Pooh, 301 will get its day in the sun too. Just be patient.

Ted Hammer and I will make an effort to come to 301 next season.

In september he had a shootout, it rained the first day of practice. So 2 make it up 2 us,he called a caterer and ordered food 4 over 70 ppl. That was really cool. Hope u guys make it down asap. U will love it!

It really does not make much sense to have the 1/8th Nationals on 9/9 and the 1/10th Fuel Nationals on 11/11.

For the past few years it has worked much better to have one Nationals early in the year and the other Fuel on-road National event later in the year.

I think this year it was June for the 1/10th and Oct. for the 1/8th.

Right now their are very few ROAR nats. scheduled for early in the year for 2007. Really, we should have either the 1/10th or 1/8th Nationals in late April then the other race in the Fall.

IMO, 9/9 may not be the best for the 1/8th Nats.

I agree - 301 for 2008
Early in the year for the 2007 sounds good, too. Worlds are in Oct.

Ted,

I can see that you don't really need your back covered like Mark said. This is good because I can't even get Mark to respond to my scathing retorts in the MWS thread. *sigh*

the ROAR on road fuel nationals has been held in Vegas once in the last 9+ years that I know of, last time being in 2001. I don't know how many ROAR off road fuel or electric Nats have been held in Vegas in the same amount of time.

I am not sure what is going on but I heard the Sedan Nats were in Southern Texas in the month of November and that is the strangest thing possible. Well good luck to all you guys that are hosting the race since that month is the rainy season. Look at the weather right now. It is pouring rain. My freinds from houston say it is nasty weather. It has been known to be cold. It is only smart to run it on months will less rain like march april and early may.. Just a thought!!!!!
