hey guys, the title saids it all
basically my rear wheel always seem to wear out alot faster then my front ones
is this the case with everyone? and is there anything i can do to stop it

everybody does.

Normally people shave front tires 1.5mm to 3.0mm thinner diameter than rear.

( ask expert driver in your home track which own the same car with yours )

how do i shave them?? i dont have a tyre truer as they cost a bomb,
is ther an another way i can do it??

1. Be very very nice with people who own tire truer

2. You can use this strategy : buy 1 set front and 2 set rear : 1 for heat and 1 for final. IF you crash and damage the front tires during the heat ..... then go back to option #1 to shave a new set of front tires.

Use a cheese grater and hit the gas on the car with desiired tire aginst cheese grater , very affective.

asw im just tryin to keep my tyres for practises, i practised for 2 hours today and tyres on back wore abit, just aint nice buying new tyres every 2 weeks

redo your set up so the car runs softer fronts than rears...

btw,knowing the brand of car,the brand of tires,whether you run a one way(cause if you don't,you're not shaving your fronts to any advantage),what type of surface,how long are your heats,how long do the rear tires last,does any one else you are racing against have the same problems,are THEY running the same cars,tires,brands,set up,ETC?

The best result if you can access to shave front tires before play or race.You always get maximum performance with brand new tires. As another alternative, you can use softer compound for front or harder compound for rear, but this might require a new setting different than in the setup manual.

However, if you practice often, always remember to keep some of front tires when they are 2mm smaller ( to be use for race day ). After practice take off front tires, slightly soak them with paragon tire sauce, wipe them, and put them in the box again.

Racing GP cars are wallet consumptive especially on tires and fuel.
