Default fw05s gear trouble

Hey guys. in a spot of trouble. i have a kyosho fw05s and recently got the 2 speed kit for it. got a couple of issues. but for now i only want to get the major one fixed. The clutch?? i think. is never engaged in the sence that anytime the engine is turned over.or when its running the wheels are always spinning. and the only will only remain running whilst off the ground. (because as soon as the wheels are forced to stop spinning it stalls.) this never used to happen before the 2 speed was put in. and im not exactly sure what creates/prevents the problem. i believed ive followed the instructions to the letter but odviously im wrong. lol

If anyone has any thoughts on what might be causing it to do this could they please try to shed some light on what might be needed to get me idling happily on the ground again.

cheers luke.

check if your clutch spring is still tight and unbroken. Maybe you also need to tune the engine.
