I have to go with the local favorites… Scotty Gray at 1/8th and Danny Horta at sedan.

To guess who will win this year is probally the most difficult decision to make. So I broke it down to 3 or 5 depending on class;

Sedan top 3:
Art Carbonell - He's still got it!
Barry Baker - Always seems to be there at end.
Danny Horta - Just drives a missle and is under control.

Masters top 3:
Harry Hananouchi - I am sure pitting for Mikey Swauger helps some times.
Randy Colvin - A local dark horse who is very clean and fast.
Jim Sowa - Another local favorite who was close last year.

1/8th Open top 5:
Mike Swauger - The man can drive. 3 time defending champ!
Ralph Burch - No matter where he races he is always a contender.
Josh Cyrul - Same as Ralph always a contender.
Paolo Morganti - Mr Serpent USA has many laps at the Fort. And hes due!
Chris Tosolini - Well was TQ at the worlds. And led most of the race.

With the talent that is scheduled to come, some of the B-Mains will be like A-mains at any other race. These are my best guesses. I only hope to out qualify maybe 1 or 2 people. Then run my main, get out my chair and watch these mains. I am sure they will be awesome.

Default Hmmmm my pick

1/8 open:
M. Swauger ...did it before can do it again....remember collari
If he can get the car to be fast on Bigger tires ...done

R. Burch...M. Blackeeter Awesome combo
Chris Toso ....mainly because of Pit crew never seen him with his real crew

Now if Scotty and Paolo have no motor issues then they'll be top contenders for the top spots. My opinion Masimo needs to deliver!!

Sedan:
WOW! too close to call.....you've seen the names!

As long as it's as good of a race as the Nationals last year (besides the start), I don't care who wins.... but I'm pulling for a Team Mugen victory. Mike S. will be helping Brian Berry get into that A-Main with his new ride!! I haven't seen anyone mention Brian here, but he's as good as they come as well. I'm glad to see him back into 1/8th.
