So, Who are these racers really supposed to contact? Let's try to make this a little simpler.

Default Getting prepared....?!!

Hi All and happy holidays.

It's good to see people are passionate about the hobby and want to get their views across.
I personally think the MidWest Series is a great series of races that can pull racers in from far and wide. But, and with respect to all and especially the instigators of the series and the tracks they raced upon. Things move on........ and they should. There is a reason why good tracks are being built and 'Old' venues have not been able to build such facilities.

As for me.......I'm already starting to get things ready for next year. I never realized how much travelling was involved so could not visit as many venues as I would have liked last year. 2007 should be different.
It will be good to see high turn out's at the races.
It will also be interesting to see if the G4s will be able to hang on at the top?

Well, Mark said first people can contact him. He actually has more information about everything than me at this point. All I know is he told me ROAR has received apps and payments from that event. In case there were more I wanted to know, and if someone contacts me I'd like to handle it and share the information with Mark. I just felt it was my responsibility because it happend at our track, even though I wasn't there.

Default Bring on 2007........

I look foreward to the new season.
Yes.........already. I am starting to get things ready and get money & sponsorship together.
It will be interesting to see if the G4s will still show itself to be the "Top dog"
or if Mugan will stomp all over it.
Will Serpent actually get that 720 going and win stuff with it.............or do we have to wait for the 730,.... and the V1RRRR ?

Good luck to all in preparing.

Am I right in saying that it will be Feb next year before we get to know the schedule?
Do we know how the vote on which tracks we would like to be included went?
Or did I already miss that??!

I know people generally do not like being told what to do, but at the Ontario track we tried to do duplicate what Toledo has proven to work by using the same sealer and traction comppund as they do. Just a word of advise to new tracks talk to Ted Hammer and get his "Hammer Brew" for traction compund it may be a little more expensive then sugar water but it WORKS!!

I think Controlled practice would be a great thing. I all so beleave that if you want to have a race at your track that you should have a least have 3 or 4 races of your own before the Midwest race is allowed there it don't have to be a permanent track. What ever happen to the Region 5 champion race?

Mark - thanks for releasing the 2007 Schedule. I respect your choice of locations. I'm sure 2007 will be another awesome MidWest Series Season. Also thanks for your time spent on the Series.

In the future if openings become available we would once again appreciate the consideration of the Ontario 1/8 On Road Racing Club Track in Hamilton Ontario Canada.

Merry Christmas

Marc, I was just wondering if the rules for '07 are going to be the same as last years? Mainly the cooling hole size from 50mm to 60mm like ROAR allows, and ceramic bearings in motors, the Plus 12-3CT looks to be a good motor. Thanks.

The MWS runs by ROAR rules. I believe Brian Berry is going to update the MWS web site to reflect that. ROAR rules have changed since the MWS rules were last updated.

Regarding ROAR rules when is the minimum weight going to be recognized. It's not hard to get a sedan under minimum, so maybe weigh the top three.
