I’ve just received the Serpent F180 car that Serpent USA has sent to a few race sites throughout the US to help promote the new class. I have to install a receiver on it and I will bring it to the Toledo MWS race on September 22-23. If enough people are interested maybe it could be a class to replace the out going Outlaw class next year.

The last MWS race hosted by the Toledo Club is only about 10 day’s away. You’re going to want to be sure and attend this last outing of the season. The Championship for 3 of the 4 classes is going to be decided in the very last race. And time and weather permitting there is going to be 3 “Special” races after qualifying on Saturday. Each one with a little “Twist” that should make for some entertaining racing and viewing.
Year End Awards (that can actually be used at every race) will be presented for the following positions. Along with special recognition for the top 3 in each class.

1/8th Open – Top 10
200mm Touring – Top 10
1/8th Masters – Top 9
Outlaw – Top 3

So please pre-register at www.midwestseries.com so event awards can be determined.

Will anyone at the MWS Toledo race have any 25% tornado fuel for sale?

I believe Greg from RC1 Racing / Tornado Fuel will be on hand to sell some Tornado fuel. Hopfully he reads this thread and replies to confirm. If he doesn't make it, you can contact CEFX Raceway www.cefxraceway.net. They sell it at thier hobby shop and may have some to pick up. CEFX is about an hour north of Toledo.

Is there going to be a club race this Sunday in Toledo? I hope so. I gotta get in some practice. Hope some of you guys make it out for some racing. Work has kept me busy lately, and I haven't had a chance to do much racing since GLC. RayJ

Yes, we will have a club race in Toledo this Sunday 9/16. It has been along time since the Monkey was able to scream. I have not gone this long with out racing in the summer for at least a couple decades. (Thank God for Masters Class)

Sorry, I did not set up a group of rooms for the Sept. MWS in Toledo. Last year we did not use many rooms. Unfortunately, BP has alot of workers on the track side of Town for the Refinery shut down and there is a football game in Town.
