My MISTAKE, you are correct Duneland. The "A" main racers and qualifying positions were as follows:

1. Eli Ezrow
2. Brian Berry
3. Paul Cicarello
4. Darin Thomason
5. Aaron Alexander
6. Ted Hammer
7. Greg Aker
8. Joby Uctman
9. Ron Trobaugh

Very sorry about that.

Not sure that Brian feels anything!!!!!!!

Nope not feelin anything. But I will update the report sometime. I have to get things ready for the Canadian Nats this weekend so I may not be on the internet at home to update the site. Maybe Monday or Tuesday.

Eli, welcome to the club.....Wanna be Director next year?

Default Detroit Race

The MWS Detroit race was fantastic!
The track layout was very technical with great traction.
I look forward to the next race on this course layout.
Many thanks to the DRCCC club and all others including the
MWS sponsors involved in hosting a great race weekend.

That's more like it! Now, if you stand on your head while looking at the list, it looks pretty good!

The race report was great. I'm new to the midwest series and it is nice to see my name in the write up for the C main. Thanks

Brian. Chuck and I will be there Saturday morning around 9:00. We'll pick up where I left off in Detroit.

Has anyone tried to make reservations for the Racine race yet? It seems that there is a "Triathalon" and most hotel/motels are booked!

I suggest the Holiday Inn in Port Washington, WI. Great view and most excellent meal just across the street. Make sure you ask for your fish to be cooked on the Oak Plank. Two thumbs up.

Ted, Port Washington is some 40 miles or so away from the track area?

Eli,

I was able to book one down the street at Super 8 (262) 884-0486. With the triathalon of events going on, I was able to only muster $80 on Friday night and $108 on Saturday night. I know next door is a Kinghts Inn (cheap rates) but I would not recommend it, its worse than the Motel 6 in Ft Myers.

WOW $188.00 for two nights hotel plus gas $100.00 this is not looking good for racing! I thought that we were trying to keep costs down???

As much as I dislike camping anymore, I might pitch a tent at Bong State Park. (yes, thats the real name) It'll definately cut costs. It looks to be very close to the race site.
