The Pre-Registration is working in both places now on the Midwest Series website (Pre-Register button on main page as well as within Schedule area).

Also, the Midwest Racers going to Racine make note of the new race site. As mentioned in Mentor on a new race site for Racine, the location and hotels have been updated on the Midwest Series website www.midwestseries.com. To view from MWS website, click on Schedule from left menu, then select Racine, Wisconsin for details.

Heres the rates I've found: In all cases mention Midwest Series when applying for a discounted rate (if available): ( click this link for interactive hotel info)

Motel 6: $48.99 41216 Ford Rd
Canton, MI (734) 981-5000 (reserve online for additional 10% off) rooms are outdoor open access

Comfort Inn: $59- $69 (group number 4628) 40455 Ann Arbor Rd E Plymouth, MI (734) 455-8100

La Quinta Inn $61 king or double (formerly known as Baymont Inn on MWS website): 41211 Ford Rd; Canton, MI (734) 981-1808 recently remodeled

Fairfield Inn: $89 kings, $94 Kings 5700 N Haggerty Rd
Canton, MI (734) 844-6725

Also, just so you all know, the new IKEA store is not far from this location. I'm sure out of towners might want to check it out

I just updated the rate for La Quinta. They are now quoting me 61 dollars instead of $79, kings or doubles. If you got a reservation before make sure you get the "Midwest Series" room rate. La Quinta is formerly known as Baymount Inn (as shown on the hotel listing on MWS website) and was recently remodeled.

It looks as though there will be a nice turn out for the Detroit MWS race according to how pre-registration is going. Be sure to register to be eligible for the door prizes.

Like Mark said.... But to add to it, click on Schedule/Fees from left menu, then click on Detroit, Michigan. The map, address, and local hotels are called out.

Mark Unger will have trackside support with his trailer. He has Kyosho, Mugen, and Serpent parts available.
