I would offer... Try to find the transmitters your interested in, and hold them. If you're running nitro, you could possibly be on the driver stand anywhere from 15 to 60 minutes depending on your skill. The top radios will have most of the same features, but may feel very differently in your hand. Go for comfort, then options...

my 0.02.

I use an EX10 helios because it feels very comfortable especially on long mains. It also has all the features you need.

Me being someone who has always had futaba radio, i always felt the 3pk was the most comfortable in my hands. However that said, i ALWAYS use a neck strap to take the weight off my arms, the neck strap also gives me a level of security, eg on a very high drivers stand im no longer afraid of dropping my 3pk.

My dad has the 3PK super, which he got after he liked mine. If you go for a 3PK i highly recommend the super, its much much easier to use.

I too, am partial to the KO EX 10. The unit has a ton of features, it is lightweight and ergonomical, and it has a nice look. However, the 3PK and the M11 seem to be solid choices. Just hold them and see what feels best.

With my futaba 3PK i had to dremel out the clip on protector so the spectrum antenna would fit, but done properly it looks very tidy!

However, on my dad's 3PK super no modifications were required at all, it all clipped straight together

Yeah, for racing nitro you want the m11 I reckon. But if you wanna be cheap like me, get a second hand m8.

I definately recommend that you hold them in your hand and see what is most comfortable. I tried the M11, 3PK and the EX10 Helios and felt far more comfortable with the Helios. It is based on your preference.
