I've been using HPI 5x10x4mm bearings.

Go to the Mugen website and you will find the part list. For sure is not a flanged bearing like the Serpent.

mugen uses 5x10x4mm (unflanged) bearings inside and outside the clutch bell. I have used rubber shieded shelf bearings from my LHS without issue for most of the year. I believe they are just Duratrax bearings for $6 a pair. Look on towerhobbies.

Default Rubber Shielded???

I always stayed away from rubber shielded bearing inside the clutch figuring that with the heat and movement, the bearing would fall apart in a short period of time. Your saying you have not had any problems??? i would like to try that...Any particular brand bearing??? I thought that its a must to use metal shielded bearings in the clutch.

Anyone try ceramic bearings in the clutch?

I've got a pair installed, but haven't run a 30 minute main with them yet, so I'm not sure how they'll do...
