from the looks of it, it's an osspeed 1040 inline pipe. i think the stinger opening is 5.2mm if i'm not mistaken

Hi There,

As doki_doki said it's the OS Speed 1040 L52 header/pipe set, I don't knoe the stinger size exactly but it may be 5.2mm as doki said, which may be why it's an L52, the L does stand for left, thats all I know.....

It's a nice pipe though, looks pretty sturdy, so I hope I don't mess it up first time out.....

Thank you very much, it came with the kit actually...there are some really nice touches and some good upgrades on this kit over the evo, and from what I can tell it was only about $20us dearer than the Evo

the stinger is 5.2mm as this is what the information i got from the os web site. it's legal to use this pipe in sanctioned races. i'm also using this pipe and it's quite sturdy to add more strength to it, i reinforced the stinger with epoxy steel clay

beautiful kit, indeed!

question: on your receiver, it looks like your wires are hanging off the side of the chassis, is that how they will stay, or are you going to bind them up somehow?

if thats how they stay, are you worried about them getting pulled out?

reason i ask is because i had my receiver wire pull out of my receiver (sr3000) and it was in a totally concealed spot, making me wonder how it happened. It seems like that might cause some problems.

Yeah thats how the receiver mounts...it's annoying but still....

There's two solutions I'm thinking of, either a brace to protect the receiver and wires, or running some foam along the body, a receiver cover might also be an option, so yeah, I will have a look at it, but due to our track being counter clockwise most damage happens on the left side of the car due to all the left hand corners....
