Default beginner needs advice...

hi nitro guys
im new to nitro but not to RC.
i have been offered abt $200 for an RTR setup.with glow plug etc.
the is a tamiya TGX.MK1 1/8th.comes with a 15 size pullstart engine i think.
the car is said to be quite new(ran a few times).
electronics is unnamed but i think no better than a Blazer.i plan to plug in my KO-mars anyway.
i need ur opinion on whether this is a good car to learn nitro with or not.
is the price reasonable?or is this car absolute crap?i dont plan to race it ..im only serious at electric.
parts support is OK for tamiya around here but i THINK it's uncommon for 1/8th parts.
will it be a fun car to drive and learn?
many thanks in advance.

I think its fine as long as you are just bashing. Just make sure it has ball bearings. Other than that, I wouldn't really worry about parts too much. Every single Tamiya car I've owned has been practically bulletproof and can't remember the last time I ever broke a part.
