Default What is it ?

when you find out what that is, please let me know.
I have the same exact car. Your frame is cut the same,
your rear unit is the same.
Wow... I have mine posted in my photo's section.
I need to get a motor mounted in this.
What's in yours ?
I was told its not a RC250
I looked at a RC200 and its not that,

Being that it has original Thorp wheels, I am wondering if it is one of John's earlier models. I would pose the question to Rick Davis. I think if anyone would know what car it is, it would be him.

It could be a Delta, Jerobee, or MRP.

The bottom chassis seems to be too narrow unlike the AE RC200 and RC300. Also, I don't think AE used metal tanks like the one shown.
.......it's not Associated...............Associated DID have metal tanks in the beginning............

Default What is it ?

After listening to you pro's of RC try and determine what this car is I notice a few issues here.

#1 - 20yrs ago when I bought it, it was called an ASSOCIATED RC Nitro Car.
Thats what I was told and I have always claimed I had an early Associated 1/8 scale car.

I looked down the memory lane photos at rcmagvintage and it has features found on both Associated and Delta vintage cars but also a PB car. Since it nearly matches the original post vehicle I doubt there were 2 Identically modified cars which seems that this was a production car.

Is there any photos of RC1, RC2, RC150's around ?

I still stick to it being an Associated car since 20yrs ago thats how I bought it. I have pulled out the original motor and I still have it and the strange Heat Sink that the original post vehicle has on it. I plan to gather all those parts up tonight and clean it up and get some more photos in detail.

Besides the motor change and the lack of heat sink this car is still original
as purchased and quoted as original as purchased by the original owner and he called it an Associated RC? I can not remember.

Thumbs up TITAN!

It's a TITAN, late 70's. Front Susp. / Aluminum crossmember was
signature... not spring steel.

John Thorp made wheel adaptors for the car so they could accomodate
his THORP wheels. My Uncle raced for John and had a Titan as well.

Take care!
