Default help me chose a rally car please

man this buying a car game ain't easy
i went to my lhs today to see if could see the inferno GT .
got down there and the guy there said he had just sold the last 1 a few days before.cool i said i ain't buy for a while yet.so when you getting more in????

I AM NOT he says he reckons he has had so many problems with peeps bringing them back with something wrong with them.

that he refuse to stock them till "Kyosho sorts out the probs"
humm i said "but its based on the inferno buggy which is meant to be great"

"yep its is but the mods they done to make the GT are the problem"
it was busy in the shop so i was not able to press him about what the probs were, but i left with a sunken heart

now i guess he could of had so many bring backs as he was maybe selling to 1st timers and if the things as hard to tune as it sounds, iam not surprised, maybe for a nitro expert these are thing you can sort out, but iam a newbie and really don't want a car i gone be trying to get to work more than playing with.
what dou you guys think of th inferno GT?????

what i have been looking at part from the GT is
1 Kyosho Landmax 2 Subaru
Impreza Rally

which i have heard mention a lot,bit confused here as it seems to use the same Chassis as the GT (the inferno 7.5)
so what exactly is the difference between this and the inferno GT???
which is better and why???

iam sure some of you have had both these cars so some1 should be able to give a honest view.

2 Thunder Tiger EB-4 S2 Rally car, Thunder Tiger EB-4 S3 Rally car, Thunder Tiger - ER-1 1:8 RTR
trying to work out which 1 is the best of these?
i am guessing the s3 and that the ER1 is a newer EB-4 s2
if any 1 can throw some light on this it would be great

any of your opinions would be much appreciated

if you can give me some pros and cons on each car?

and out of the cars iam looking at, which 1 would you go for and why????

cheers for you time guys i know its a long read, but i well need some tips on this one..

Try posting in the off road forum. I'm sure you'll get lots of responses there. You could also try searching for an Inferno thread there.

the GT have just got a narrower wheelbase and has a 2 speed instead of a centre diff...

its pretty good but i hate kyosho engines and kyosho altogether.... its the worst a rookie can buy....

the engine wont last long and the clutch shoes are a harder metal than the clutchbell and the clutchbell wears quicker than the shoes LOL!

i would go with the latest thunder tiger... i got a thunder tiger pro21bxr in my hpi savage monster truck and its crazy fast and has ALOT of gallons through it

RAlly car is not a super big category. I had a HPI Super Rally, it was great. Look for a new one on line and buy a used one on e-bay so that you have parts. Also you can try an electric car...
