Exclamation Radio question

Hello people, i am about to buy a radio and would like advise on which of the following to buy.

i have a choice between an Airtronics M8 or a Mars EX-1. Both are the same price and i need to know which is the better of the two?

i am buying one of the two in the next couple of days so a quick reply would be great.

thanks

I am using an M8 and I like it a lot. I used to use KO but I dont like the balance of it. The M8 has well balance which wont make your palm/hand twist after a while of driving.

However, you need to be cautious that KO and Sanwa M8 crystals are not interchangable i.e. if you are using KO, you cannot use your spare KO crystals on your sanwa M8 radio. You need to buy extra crystals especially for sanwa M8.

Hope this help.

* feature wise, which has more?

You just need the right servo plug for the sanwa receiver.
the side of M8 mini receiver is same as ko mini receiver.
KO always has more features. When I used my KO two years ago, I only use the very basic features as I dont really bother to use the others!! Besides, the features on KO TX is too complicated comparing to M8 TX.

Just to throw a 'curve ball' into the equation! Since this is the Nitro thread... have you considered the Futaba 3PJS... it's a nice radio and has PCM which saves you having to add a failsafe! It is also a lot more user friendly than the EX-1.

Same as that in Singapore... In fact M8 is still the most popular because of the immediate support over here... can get it serviced almost immediately...

But still I'm using a 3PJ... I'm spanking myself here...!
