Yes, it is faster. It has the exact same response time as the Spektrum Pro Series receiver. I have run one in both my Buggy and truggy, 2 electric sedans, my Mini-LST, and a micro sedan and it works great in all of them.

thanks for the info.

I am in the process of upgrading to the pro from the regualr DSM. Is it worth the extra $ to get the micro or just stick with the pro receiver? Thanks

It's worth it if space is a problem. Can't use the telemetry with the micro, but if that isn't an issue.....

Umm...Well, when paired with the FIRST spektrum module, it increases the speed slightly (I think 1.3 milliseconds). When paired with the PRO module, it IS the same speed as the normal size pro receiver. The advantage, besides taking up less space, is that it's 6 grams lighter...

I tried for the very first time the Spektrum System at the GLC. I use the Pro module with the micro/mini receiver. I fell no difference from the std system and no problems at all

Its identical to the pro receiver no telemetry. It wieghs 6 grams and is very small. I am using it in a M8 and a MRX_3. I noticed no diff between it and the fm module and no change in lap times. The only thing I have noticed is the missing wieght from the old antenna. NO glitches etc...
