Porting .12's......

Ive asked around a few places, and havent gotten any real decent answers to my questions.....

Im working with OS motors at the moment because i have 12 of them laying around my house (i never rebuild, just buy another motor). Im not getting any help with what crank cuts, sleeve grinds, and mods on the rod and piston. Ive got the basic idea about the ports on the block, but I want to work on the rest of the motors. Im racing offroad, trucks.

Maybe motorman can help explain cuts, bits to use, etc.?

Thanks for your help.

The site you are looking for .com, but what are you looking for in particular. Maybe I can help or not

mobil1rac 01-26-2003 11:30 AM

There are a few other sites that Dennis spends some of his time on and there are a few other web sites that will explain what you want to do with the sleeves, cranks, blocks, but You need to do a little more investgating. It took me a few weeks to find exactly what I was looking for in terms of motor modding. What's up Jason, are you still sending away for all that power.HA HA. Won't tell.

It's rcboat.com/past.htm...not "boats"

Corse-R 01-27-2003 01:03 PM

Maybe this can be of your interest. Use it at your responsability.

Thanks Rod_b

I am always doing that even when I am going to the site myself. Keep forgetting that there is no "s" in the link.:D
