Do you mean use or the make property? The putty is used to clean your car... Picks up the oil and dirt like magic. Comes in plastic jar. Just take some out and kept squeezing it like kids play dough. Press it down on a dirty part and pull of.. The dirt is gone... just roll and squeeze again and got to next dirty part.. cause it is like pladough, it will hit all corners when pushed in, the engine crank fins etc. It is just a product one can't do without. I sell it for around $15.00 a jar and that will last a very long time!

Blue Tac can be use as well but the elasticity is far less than Serpent Cleaning Putty.

Here in Germany you can buy Ferrit. At the beginnig itīs a little bit harder, than the serpent one, but after a time you have squeeze it, it becomes so soft like the serpent one.

There is a guy up here in the Chicago area that has found the secret recipe and is selling the stuff for a lot cheaper than the $15 from Serpent. I bought a portion of it from him, but I don't remembber who it is now so I could buy more. The stuff is awesome though.

Just feel free to spend less than US$2 to buy a Kneaded Eraser- Faber Castel produces it, or you may search from ebay by kneaded eraser, it is talking about around US$1 each.
