we have tons of hop ups available here, Hong Kong.

Graphite deck, lightened shafts, alloy wheel adaptors are a must.

Hudy Gauge (For set-up of vehicle) or a good set of vernier calipers....... it's a necessity for proper setup so that u don't drive yourself insane in the chase for handling..... Good tools (Hex wrench for screws etc) and a swaybar.....

either Hudy set up station or the one made by Integy. The integy one is a lot cheaper and it does the job too! you can find the integy from www.speedtechrc.com

Hey Pent! Got your V One R finally!! If I had the V One S, the first hop up I would go for is definitely the 2 speed! If you want to get the maximum speed out of the engine, I would say it is a must...! Moreover, it does not stress your engine at high ranges too!
The next thing would be another engine...but that'll be another story...
Keep us informed on your new baby eh....

Thanks.. I will probably get the 2 speed..

Haven't had much time to build it yet..

The manual mentions using silcone oil on the diffs.. but its highlights it as opitional..

Hopefully have it finsihed b4 the weekend...

Crap.. I just used the grease that came with it plus some I some oil ( I think it was teflon oil)

Does anyone know the part numbers of the 2 speed for the V-oneS

I was looking at the this website
controlcentre.rctech.net and they have so many after market parts for vone/R/S

Are there any other weakness to the V-oneS..
brakes ?,etc

Should I get any other gears ??

I might as well get some good stuff.. while my mate is in HK
since I kysoho stuff is too expensive in Aus..

thanks..

whats a good tuned pipe to get for it..

Pipes are a weird thing.......... i have friends that run the genuine novarossi pipes, rb pipes etc and they are excellent but one of my mates has an eagle racing pipe and he swears that it's the business....... he has been racing for about 15 years so i guess he should be able to tell. I think that u should get what ever will provide u with what u need from it (good torque, high top end etc).........

I would recommend getting a better brake disc such as aftermarket ones from Square or K-Factory, also the disc brake hub upgrade from the plastic one is also necessary. As for the top deck, not so necessary, you might want to modify and change the stock fuel tank (air leak problem) to a better one such as the one the Mugen MTX is using. As for your diffs, try silicone oil 7000wt for front and 5000wt for the rear, your car will handle better than using grease. Shock oil and grease are too light. I have a V-One S too.

Is the brake hub the same as a brake rotor or brake cam ?

Is a belt tensioner required for the V-one S

thanks.. again
