This is a new track, this weekend will be the first race on it. Tire wear will be a little high, I used 37 and 40 shore tires this past weekend and they seemed to work good.

What time does the track open tomorrow for the pro series? I have no idea what time to get there. I didn't see a time posted anywhere.

200mm Results

1. Nick Smrt
2. Ira Schultz
3. Bobbo
4. Dave Trac
5. Dana Dowell
6. Pat Morris
7. Adam Kasch
8. Mike Garcia

1/8

1. Mark Sweeney

I don't remember the rest but it was a pretty close race for 1/8, almost down to the minute until someone lost a wheel.

As for 200mm, with the new track surface, there is a ton of tire wear. Ira and Bobbo ran thier tires to the rim and had to tip toe around the track for the last 10 or 15 mins of the 45 min main.

Thumbs up LH RCPro

The track looks awsome!! Anybody sitting on the fence better get out and enjoy this beautiful faclity! The only thing wrong was the turnout. Way to light for a race such as this. I know from racing at tinley, their are plenty of guys that would love this place!
Congrats to Nick Smart!! Drove an almost flawless race, causing Ira Schultz to push hard and eat up tires with an aggressive run after a bobble that left him nosed up into the boards. Many laps were having these 2 racers freight training around a very fast, flowing layout.
Congrats to Mark Sweeney for a great run in 8th Scale. He and his car looked to be very fast. Anderson Yau and one other guy kept him in check for a while, but the cream rose to the top. Great Racing to watch, and I HATE just watching. Good Luck to you guys going to Mentor for the next round of the MWS! Hope to see ya soon.

Two more MWS left Nick! How about it?
Wish I could have joined in the fray at Leisure... Had my car working better than ever before, on Wed. (till my connecting rod stopped connecting).

I'm sure the turnouts will improve over the next couple weeks. I'll be there after Mentor. How about you, Nick? At least a little 'local' touring eh?

I would like to thank everybody at Leisure Hours Hobbies for a great time this weekend, and everybody for the hard work in making the track AWSOME!

Also thanks to Allen Richards for the fast pit stops.

Good job Nick, Wish I had the tires at the end of the race.

Congrats to Mark Sweeney, for the win in 1/8th
He could not have done it with out the nice pit work from Jayne(Great job)

Anderson nice job, way to keep things interesting.

Post Screamin

Ron- was disappointed you weren't there. Was hoping to make up for the pit snafu at Racine last year... Always great hangin with the D'Land guys. A few tweaks with the old MTX3 and I'll be ready. Can't make Mentor this weekend tho. Good Luck to you and the Boys and see ya on the 3rd.
