Thanks for the offer guys. I'm afraid to get the 1/8th bug. I'm killing my self over 1/10. Do you know how many times I've had to go to the sperm bank to cash out? It's like a second job

Hmmmm..........how come I did not think about that? What a great idea...
$24 for a set is cheap....and thanks for taking care Albert's shop...we just thought you have to run 4 set of tires per weekend...that is a little bit TOO MUCH....I think only big time sponcer race like Nick or IRA are running something like that.

Tommy..........1/8th is what you need to run this year, don't wait, JUST DO IT.

You will find Serpent, Mugen, Kyosho, Delta, and PRP cars at the track.
Parts available for all. Easiest parts to find will be for Mugen & Serpent.
I recently switched to the Snake 960.

I visited the track today to turn in my RC Pro series registration.....Looks like someone was running some hot laps.....

Pit lane looks like an on ramp of a expressway, similar to the offroad pit lane but the slope is not that steep. Its about 2.5 ft wide and covered with wood right now. Bernie told me that hes going to cover it with fiberglass and epoxy over it. Then paint it with some grit in the paint so the cars have some grip. I also liked his idea of painting a stripe down pit lane, a lot less run in's that way. I shouldve took some pics but quality wouldve been bad on my camera phone.

Looking great so far, keep up the good work and we'll have a world class track

nope, no layout, just a handful of boards laid out in a chicane onto the back straight. Everything else was bare asphalt

LOL I wouldn't count Rookie out. Here's his first year at Chicagoland RC Raceway.

But that's only because Rookie had his own car back then. :

The rest of us ... we were poor and had to take turns running a touring car and a mini cooper.
