Stripped Wheel Hex

I am having a problem with stripping the plastic wheel hex in the right rear where the tire mounts on. Any thoughts? I am getting the tire on firmly and tightening the nut. But during a race it will strip on me and loose traction in that right rear. Thanks

Could be your wheel choice. I know my last wheels I had they had a problem with holding onto the wheel hex.

Get some aluminum ones if you can find them , that would probably solve your problem one way. The other try some new tires.

What tires are they btw?

They are Sorex rubber tires on Speed Mind(?) rims. Placed on a TG10-MK.2 with an OS .12TZ. I run foam on another track and they work fine.

You can also try replacing the hex. Once the corners are rounded, its much easier to strip the rim.
