Hi Dennis and John,

I've been incommunicado for a while - working on an MBA which sucked up all my free time. Amazing how much the touring cars have progressed since I last looked. Dennis, look forward to hearing about your next-gen motors. Sounds like an engineering tour-de-force. Any chance of a non-confidential tech description after they're released? John, I've only ever run the 11 turn version of the Laguna Seca layout (10 really, since turn 1 is just a slight jog to the left) but was able to get about a weeks worth of seat time last year. Wish my car had the HP potential of your TT. Anyway, hope you guys are having more fun than me! (Not hard unless working and then going home to do homework is your idea of fun...)

Tennesee:

The new car is great. Practiced with it yesterday at Revelation. Mind you if was with a stocker that needs pipe tuning work, but with very close to a stock setup, I had more steering than with any TC I've ever driven Steering good! Ran all day on one set of tires and only had a 1.5mm difference fr/rr towards the end of the day. The car is also pretty tough I found out; unless you hit something REALLY hard - which I also did. Tore the arm out of the bearing block.

That's a big maybe on the Subie in Vegas. Not sure if it's coming up or not yet. It would be worth it if only to see someone as big as you turn pale white.

I believe turbo dog will probably be there too. We do need a mascot!

I used to use epoxy type ramps in my 12 cranks but durability was questionable and the performance gain was very small so I no longer use them unless its an all out (that would be a nationals or worlds engine intended for one race only and assuming all other extra rotating mass from the drivetrain had already been removed)15 or 21 crank where I'm trying to reduce rotating mass in the crank. The amount of metal you can remove from a 12 crank is very small so its not worth the effort.
maybe he got the idea from shark skin? you know how the surface of a shark is supposed to lower the resistance through the water or somthing like that

I'll try to talk Brad into going to revelation this sunday.

Nice to hear that you liked you're car, the stock setup is really good for that track. But it can be improved

We will be either at one track or another next weekend.

Oh yea ,who's place are we going to stay at this time?

You're welcome at the home of the heroin dog too (10yr old black lab). We've got space if Turbo Dog manner is booked up. Actually I think he may be going quad'ing next Sunday, but we might be able to change that.

Either way, let me know.

You can race all year long....yeah if you're a LIZARD!

Socal - racing capital of the world. Why else would you guys drive 6 hours every few weekends? Oh yeah, for the turbo dog.

Tracy still has...you know, that car. He sounded interested in racing too.
