A friend of mine runs one and it does good with the stock NTC-3 rear ex. pipe . Make sure you use a Mugen tank like Dennis though.

It is not a short stroke. It might be a short rod but that has nothing to do with stroke. I didn't know that the short rod version was relised yet but, it's possible.

Yup, I've had one for 4 months now from Mugen! I don't know why the online shops are just now selling them.

I wasn't talking about the MR-12, the big head MT-12 is the new "cast ports" and short rod design for trucks, the MR-12 is the newer refinement for touring cars. The big head MT-12 is the same as Novarossi's Rs 12 Tr.

could be a number of reasons....

age
running lean
poorly looking after the engine
defect
vibration
revving too high for too long
poor lubrication

Default Dennis,

the longer I think about my problems with the TC3 the more I come to the conclusion that it might be the carburator that sits right behind the engine, totally out of the airflow.

Do you think a composite carb a la Picco would help?
Or how about the intercooler that Perry Pump is selling?

You think any of this would help the vapor locking issue?

thanks

to make it clear, I'm only talking about that intercooler between the engine and the carb, not the whole pump system
