Thanks Dennis for clearing that up. Sounds kind of like a RC soap opera if you ask me.

But will you be modifying the new Trinity/Rossi engines when they become available?

Thanks,

Rich

Motorman, my manual for my OS .12CVR says to use at least 18% lube. Do I have to use at least 18% lube, what are the side effects if I don't. I can increase the lubrication in my fuel using Byron's "Lube Booster". Will I get longer engine life if I do decide to use 18% lubrication? Also, If I increase the lubrication won't the nitro and methanol content go down?

Post Fuel

Motorman:

I was wondering what fuel you are currently using or recomending for .12 motors. I have been using BlueThunder Race Formula 30% and have used O'Donnel Race 30% as well. I cannot see or feel a difference in the two fuels, yet I have been told by many that the O'D. is much faster fuel. Anyway I wanted to know as well if you have used either of the fuels and notice any loss or gain in power from the two and what you are running now?

Thanks.

Default Piston Dimples.

Motorman: I have little dimples on the top of my piston. I have 5 mt-12 motors and all of them have it.
I am running 20% fuel and have never run the engine too lean.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

So its the Monero. The new GTO.

Dennis do you suggest starting with a 5 or 7 port when we send you an engine? I'm thinking total outlaw here, a shop in the next town is going to do 1/10th t/c 12 engine classes, any 12. Horizon Hobbies finally got some Mugen 12's in, And We go direct w/Ofna. I have an Ofna/Picco 7port coming in for myself, I'll run it out of the box. But I want to get one of your beauties, is the Mugen 12, 3 port still the best starting point in your opinion?
I have an Ofna/Force big 15/8 port, never run. I may send that to you too. Case of a .21, beefy looking rod etc. The Crank is plain Jane looking to me, maybe not the equal of the existing sleeve (8 ports). This Ofna 15 is also available as a 3 port, could that be a better starting point for you to work on it?
Thanks,
Roj.

Default Hey Dennis

Are you modifying the Novarossi S5's yet? I have 2 and want to know if you can do anything with them. Let me know. I sent you and email, but never heard back.

Default S%

Haven't run it yet. I got a really good deal on them, and could not pass them up. My cousin sent them to me from Spain, but I know a hobby shop here in Jersey that sells them. Try calling here www.lfhobbies.com Ask for Phil and tell him Angel sent you. He may have some S3's in stock.
