Default richey motors

Dennis is running way behind because of the Nationals coming up.
I ordered my motor close to 2 months ago and should get it this Friday.So I'm sure that would be the case(running behind)
From what I read and heard it's well worth the wait.

Just be patient, the extra horsepower is worth the wait. Dennis is the man. These motors put JP's to shame.

Default Engine bearings

This is a very informative thread. Since you guys are talking about engines, just wanted to ask if any of you replaced the bearing inside the engine with a 3rd party ones as they are probably cheaper (maybe equal of better in performance) than the original.

The engine I'm referring to is a NovaMega SX12 RET. Don't know if it's the same one as the others. The bearing sizes are as follows;

7 x 19 x 6 - Front Bearing
11 x 21 x 5 - Main Ball Bearing

I was told and found it out on my own that the 11 x 21 x 5 main ball bearing is difficult to find as there is no such thing as 11 mm internal diameter.

Does anyone know if indeed this exist? What brand is this bearing?

Thanks.

Thumbs up Engine Bearings!!

Check out Boca Bearing Co.!! They have eveything you need in any size you need. They are alittle more expensive but well worth it. You can get decent High speed bearing from them for a good price. I replaced the bearings in my MT.12 with ceramic ultras seals. These are the next step up from the high speed ones! A noticeable difference in RPM's!!!! Just say it screams!! http://www.bocabearings.com/

It is impossible for an engine modifier to control what the end user does with the engine. eg, I had a highly modified RX7 with a 13B turbo running big boost. Chasing better ETs on the strip I changed out the exhaust for a big bore no muffler jobbie. Broken seals!!! This was a $3000 mistake, but not my engine builders fault

yeah the guy i was talking to made it sound like the crank exploded or something (atleast that was the impression he gave me) liek it was the manufacturers fault.. Not sure if the guy went to the biggie or heard about it from someone else though but i'll ask him about it later this week when i see him.

Dennis keep up the good work i seen dennis king run his RTU in canton MI and all i can say is wow! that thing makes a load of flat out lowend and mid range grunt well let's say power. The thing would come off a corner like nothing i have ever seen before looks like i will need one for next year, cant get spanked like that for too long lol. Have you seen the new Sirio engines? can you mod won of those? Now i have a question to get that grunt you have the crank/rotor timming open sooner than stock or close later or both?
