Dennis, have you ran the OS .12 TR stock? How does it compare to a stock MT12?

I am still deciding which engine to get. Primarily looking for a torquey .12 engine as tracks here in Nor Cal are small other than RAMS. I realize your modified engines is among the hardest accelerating but I don't exactly have the budget for one at the moment (couple of new cars, servos, etc.) Maybe later I will get one of your engines when I can make better use of the engine power. Thanks in advance.

What are your views on the "uniflow" tanks, sometimes referred to as chicken hoppers? As used by Associated in their current vehicles and Delta, years ago? Besides making refueling a mess?

Dennis, I ran the MT12 RTU this last weekend. The thing is a terror. I was running an RB6, Odon 30, long pipe, stock gearing, 61 mm foams, small tight track. It ran best at around 240 with 80ish air temp, no humidity.

Nice work on this one...very happy with it. I have a Pro 99 and Race that are getting tired that I will probably send to you over the summer for work to get ready for the nationals.

The only problem is that, as of this moment, all of my racing gear and MTX and the engine are missing. I was away on vacation with the MTX and sent it back home ground, insured UPS. And of course, they lost it. So if it does not show up in a week or two, I will be ordering another engine from you.

hehe, it seems your provider has been having some problems
I have sent you atleast 5 mails the last week.. from 2 different accounts..
And i have not gotten anything from you since "Thursday, February 07, 2002 11:11 PM"
I have gotten the pricing info i needed, and i have decided on a RTO engine, but i must have some more info, so that i can transfer the $$$ to you.... Check your PM. Its very unlikly that we should be online at the same time, Im on the other side of the planet, and night for me is daytime for you....
Hoping to sort this thing out soon, since i really want an engine, and i would like to have it before the race season starts...

motorman: hmm.. i dont know what happened either, i regularly get e-mails from the US, and i have not had any problems...
Anyway. i will transfer the $$$ tomorrow, so you just get busy making that RTO hehe its very important that it only has a 5,5mm carb, 4ports, and turbo plug....
By the way, how is fuel consumption on these engines?? i easily get 8 minutes between refills with my novamega .12 sx(ported by me, and it is actually faster than stock re engines). I guess it wont go that long before fillups, but hoping that the fuel economy isnt very bad( if it does use a LOT of fuel, then my pit guy will just have to use the fuelgun a bit more often i guess..)
Cant wait till i get this engine..
