Wow, is not even the word. That kills racing in Florida. That was are best track, not to mention we only had 2 tracks for the state races(what level is a state race anyways). Not sure what exactly happened and yes it is bad if what roar says is true. But what is going to happen to our hobby here in Florida. As big of a state as Florida is, we are not going to have a hobby here. Should something be done, of course, but I just can not believe what is going on with roar and these very harsh suspentions. 4 YEARS. like a track can recover from not holding races for 4 years. But, maybe that is the point. If roar is doing this for the memebers, I as a member, am very affected and may be one of many thats is by this action.

Local events are Level 1 and State events are Level 2.

And it looks like it was more than just a 'couple' trophies. More like 36.

Don't blame ROAR. The track needs to do the right thing. It says if they do then the suspensions will be relieved.

It's like having your license suspended for driving drunk, then blaming the DMV.

I do agree that something should have been done, but this race was when and we are just hearing about it now. That is something all in itself.

They'll probably pay the $900 bucks and be done with it.

You really need to substitute the word "cash" for trophies. The proprietors did not use the cash collected to purchase and award the necessary awards. Last time I checked, 36 trophies for a National caliber event is a pretty good chunk of change. Unfortunate that this happened, but a good decision on ROARS part IMO.

From what I understand / have been told, they had signed a
written agreement to send the trophies whithin a specified
time frame / 60 days or 90 etc... when the Roar Officials at
the race foundout that the Mandatory trophies for the Nats
were not purchased / did not exist for other than the A-Main
drivers.

Unhappy

It 's a shame we have this great hobby and then we have people do things like this to mess things up. I wish i had the money to take over the hole thing.

this is one of the best tracks in the USA , my time at the nats was great
the owners were great to work with, my name is on the list i never made a
complaint, if it is a fine of 900.00 to lift the sanction i have 100.00
to give to the cause
