the original tg10 is discontinued i think the tg10r is also discontinued.

If you must go with tamiya try the tg10 mk.2, but i would personally go with a mugen depending on your budget either a mtx-3 or mtx-4

The TG10R is still in production here in Japan but the TG10 is out of prodution (Tamiya Japan website). Most likely this means that the chassis is out of production and they are just attempting to flog off the last few R kits, probably.

If you are getting an MTX4 hope you like front one ways...I could not find a gear diff....

The TG10/R is probably not the best option, it is long in the tooth and set for being phased out...

Hey Carbon....I sent you a PM some time ago. Did you get it? I could really use your help.

As for the TG10R.....I would agree and go with the Mk.2...totally capable of hanging/beating the other cars and has TONS of parts availability.

Cheers,

Sal

you wont be able to keep up with the later models like MTX4 and RRR, the MTX4 and RRR handle better at higher speeds therefore making your laps quicker and plus they are much easier to drive,

?! Sorry Scoobs I did not know about the PM...Just email me at [email protected] !! Sorry

It means you can get parts for the TG10R but not for long (probably)...It seems that only Serpent sells spare parts for discontinued models. Most manufacturers sell until they have sold all of the spare parts off and then dont make any more. Would probably be better to go for a newer, more popular chassis...

Chris - I could not find a gear diff. for some reason, tried many places here in Japan. Ended up selling the car before I had even assembled it!! Bad experiences with front one ways...Shame...
