Default Nitro TC Racing in Washington State?

Hey Guys,

I am moving up to FtLewis Washington in a couple of weeks. I am lookin to get into some Nitro Touring Car Racing. I had a NTC3 FTK and just sold it. I am still undecided what chassis will be next more than likely an MTX4 or V1 RRR WC.

Are there any decent tracks within an hour or two?

Thanks!!!
Brad

Fantasy World Hobbies in Tacoma runs races every sunday all summer long about 10min N. of Fort Lewis. 4-seasons is about 20min S and races Saturdays.

The Mugen and Kyosho cars are both great choices. Localy the hobby shops in the area don't stock much in parts for either car but will order whatever you need.

The most popular chassis in the are right now looks to be the MTX3. I race a Team Magic G4S and feel its a better value with comperable performance compared to the MTX4 & RRR. If you sold off your car and motor I would suggest giving Sam @ racedayhobbies.com a call he has a special G4S package where you get the full hop-up car, Serpent Mega ZX-12 engine, Skyline VR-12 plus pipe & a set of Serpent Jaco tires for $600.-

Yep, I'm in lakewood about 5min from the Ft. Lewis's main gate.

You just missed our special 4th of July race, Every year we do an exhibiton race on the tacoma waterfront as part of the city's freedom festival. Next month will be our summer 2 day event and NW ROAR regionals will be in battleground WA in September.

SARCAR also has a new site. I think they run every other weekend. Check out the website or the northwest racers on rctech. Northwest Fuel Challenge AKA the Rib Run is in 3 weeks!
