Default Best Modified .12

First of all I would like to say Hello to everyone. I'm new to this board but I've been in this hobby for about 10 yrs. Now for my first question which modified Roar legal .12 do you gentlemen recommend. I noticed Dennis Richtey (Motorman) has his own thread here but it looks like he doesn't do his famous motors anymore. I am looking to buy a motor simular or at least almost as good as his were. What or whos motors do you suggest..Would prefere a Sirio or Nova base .12 . I will be installing it in a NTC3 and money is no object.

....Nice board you guys got here

Thanks in Advance

5 port sirio there is no more bang for your buck than a 5 port alum sleve and carbon carb for $150

I really don't know what kinda glue these people are sniffing, but on their website they claim you can get 20 gallons thru their pistons @ 300+ degrees? Umm...Yeah, ok if you say so. And it's made out of what? Unobtanium?

Default But what if

Well you can get 4-5 gallons out of a normal piston & sleeve so it should last about 4times longer if it does the money saved would pay for a new car

Either the Rody mod 3-port if you have money available or if you want a budget engine with nice power then go for the STS RS3 Hand Mod. It is supposed to be a real good bang for buck and can compete with all but a couple of the more expensive engines.

As for an engine lasting 20 gallons. I would like one of those. I'm not saying that its impossible but I just haven't seen a piston/liner for a car engine made out of any material last more than 5 gallons.

You sure its not an aero engine. They dont produce the same power and will run for a lifetime due to the fact.
