Default Suntan lotion on foams?

Has anyone heard that santan lotion sprayed on foam tires acts has a foam gunk ( substance added to increease grip).

I have heard that spraying santan lotion (with a nice coconut scent ) into a ziploc bag with foams in there will increase their stickiness or traction on the track, how much truth does this have?

Back in the day... LONG AGO... we used Coppertone on foams for traction. It was the standard white goo. This is also back when we used straight oil of wintergreen for traction before commercial traction componds were readily available. It is mostly for carpet tracks though as I never really liked it on asphalt.

I think you need more then spf 30...... you don't want want your tires getting sunburned.....

i would suggest buying the compound before ou go racing......

any SPF 45 or better.. works good as a Traction Additive for foam tires. Generally Electric Pan cars use traction compounds outdoors.
