Hey Tony,

You wouldn't notice too much difference in performance. The main reason you would want to consider the change is that you will gain more runtime with the 16%.

There is no ideal temp as there are too many factors involved. We here do not use temp guns for tuning. The main thing is to make sure you always see smoke to know you are not running lean.

I was hoping that there would be one. I wanted to establish some sort of a baseline for tuning where regardless of which needle ( high or low ) you tweak, once you hit a certain engine temp then you would know that the engine you're using is completely " burning " the fuel thus leading to maximal engine output. Should I approach tuning an engine this way ?

Follow-up question; how " hot or cool " do you run your engines ?

Just for you can have an idea. It will be easy between 220 to 280, it will mostly depend on your engine, weather, track. But it will be safe in that range.

I went away from Maxys and started running another brand fuel ....then went back to Maxys because i know that it was tried and true ..... so now i have 9gallons of hard competive racing on that ninja of mine and shes still being extremely competive ..... Thanx Maxy
