Here is the coverage from R/C Car Action of the race.
http://forums.radiocontrolzone.com/s...d.php?t=222081

Congratulations to Mike and Nick!!

I want to thanks all of my sponsors for your help through out the season and Shane for having the race. Also thanks to my pit men Juca, Wallstreet and Brad. It was a lot of fun, especially up until the 50 minute mark in the main.

Default Excellent Race!!

Just a quick note to everyone involved in putting on the Byrons race. Really great job! My daughter and I had a great time. The race was well run, great announcing, and stiff competition. See you there next year.

Jeff,

Congrats to your daughter winning the C-main. I told my girlfriend that came with me that girls can get into rc too. I'll have to build up an old NTC3 I have to get her started.

Also, sorry for all the contact from my car in the B-main (orange bod w/orange wheels) I was fighting a really bad handling issue.

Did Espo let the kid run one a spare car of his? My pit guy said he was running an Ofna at first but I saw him with a Serpent.

Yea, I wish I had a setup like that too. Theres quite a few of those pit trailers that show up to the Midwest Series Races. I've seen them with dedicated tire truing areas, roll out awnings (like on RV's), an A/C unit on top, generators, air compressors, work area and storage like NASCAR transporters, windows, sliding doors, flat screen TV's with satelite. Bling Bling, we'll call it "Pitz" (spin off of Cribz) haha.

Anyways, I think my pit guy (high school kid that I used to race with) had the hots for the kid's sister (we were pitting across the way from them).

Thanks....yeah she was so excited to get the trophy. She has really improved this year. It's fun to watch her get faster.

And, no big deal about our main. I ran out of gas just before the second pit stop which fouled the plug. I was trying to get back up so I was pushing hard. My car was really pretty good but I was just too far down.

JEFF
